If you place an order for a stand along with your order for a Christmas Tree we will dowel the trunk of your Christmas Tree so that your Christmas Tree will slot straight into the gripping mechanism at the centre of the stand.
We have trialled a number of Christmas Tree stands and this stand has proven to be the most robust and safe and allows for secure standing of your Christmas Tree throughout the entire Christmas period. The base is filled with water which adds weight to the base of the tree preventing it from toppling over. The stand has been designed not only to provide secure standing but also provides the sustenance your tree requires when placed in doors, preventing the tree from drying our and dropping it’s needles prematurely. Filling the bucket with water when the Christmas Tree is first installed will keep your Christmas Tree fresh throughout all of the Christmas period as the tree will remain watered for many weeks.
Many stands use three bolts which screw into the base of the trunk to hold the tree in place. Unfortunately, these bolts often damage the bark of the tree restricting water flow being taken up throughout the branches and needles of the tree. This results in the tree drying out too quickly leading to branch drooping and needle drop. Our stand avoids these problems by using a unique gripping mechanism at the base of the trunk.
For extra stability, the stand has four flat legs to provide extra support and the gripper mechanism at the centre of the stand has teeth which grip the trunk of the Christmas Tree holding it firmly in place. When the Christmas Tree is ready to be taken down the trunk will easily slide out from the gripper and the stand can be used again and again each year.
Out of all the stands we have trialled this has proven the most effective. Once your Christmas Tree has been inserted it is very difficult for it to topple over and almost impossible for it to dry out. We highly recommend this stand and supply ONLY this stand to our customers for these reasons. It receives our 10/10 rating for safety and displaying our trees as elegantly as possible while keeping the tree watered throughout the Christmas period and helps to prevent needles from dropping when the tree is finally removed from the home.
FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
REMOVE THE WHITE INSERT FROM THE CENTRE OF THE STAND. FIT THE WHITE COLLAR AROUND THE DOWELLED END OF THE TREE. THIS MAY NEED A FEW FIRM TAPS IN ORDER TO FIX IT SECURELY. PLEASE ENSURE THE COLLAR IS FULLY FITTED TO THE TRUNK. THEN PLACE THE TREE WITH ATTACHED COLLAR BACK INTO THE CENTRE OF THE STAND AND YOUR TREE WILL BE SECURELY FIXED IN PLACE AND READY TO DISPLAY.
